How Pricing Adjusts With Your Team
Your monthly rate is based on your actual headcount from the previous month. If your team grows or shrinks, that change doesn't affect your bill right away. It takes effect the following month, and only if it holds.
Example:
You have 25 employees in June. In July, you hire five more, bringing you to 30, but you're still billed at June's rate. If you're still at 30 or more in August, your rate adjusts to match that band starting in August.
All-In or not at all. That's the point.

Frequently asked questions
How do you figure out what our business actually needs?
Every All-in engagement starts with a conversation. if you already have HR in place, we take it over and build from there. If you're starting from nothing, we build your foundation first. Either way, you get the same full scope of support, just a different starting point.
What if we need something outside of regular business hours?
All-in gives you the full benefit of an HR department, without expecting one person to be on call around the clock. Standard support runs during regular business hours. Anything outside that window is available, just billed separately.
Can we talk before committing?
Absolutely! Every All-In conversation starts with a free, no pressure, one hour consultation, so we can understand your business and make sure this is genuinely the right fit before anything is signed.
Is there a setup fee?
Yes, but it depends on your starting point. A one-time $750 setup fee applies if we're building your HR from scratch, or $250 if we're taking over HR you already have in place. Both are waived if you commit annually.
What's the minimum commitment?
All-in requires a 6-month minimum commitment. After that, it shifts to a flexible month-to-month basis, with 30 days' notice if anything needs to change.
Can you help me find an HRIS?
Yes. We partner with Homebase, our top recommendation for most small businesses. If you'd rather not pay for a premium system yet, that's okay, too! We can set you up with a free, open-source option instead. The right fit depends on your needs, which we'll talk through together. Either way, you keep ownership of your system. We just need admin access to manage it properly.
How does pricing work as our headcount changes?
Your rate is based on your actual headcount from the previous month. If you grow or shrink mid-month, that month is still billed at your prior rate. Any change only takes effect the following month, and only if it holds.
What is The Open Channel?
The Open Channel is a confidential way for your employees to talk to us directly, up to two 30-minute sessions per week, each. We listen, offer guidance, and pass concerns along to leadership when needed. If something requires a deeper follow-up or investigation, we'll coordinate that with you directly, included at no extra cost for All-In clients, always during PackWorks' normal business hours. It's fully included at every headcount level, with no extra fees as your team grows.
I already have an HRIS. Why do I need PackWorks?
A system is only as good as what's actually in it. We audit what you have, clean up what's outdated or disorganized, and make sure it's actually being used the way it should be, while handling everything else that an HRIS alone can't: policy, compliance, employee relations, and the people side of HR your software was never meant to manage.
What is an HRIS and how can it help my business?
An HRIS (Human Resource Information System) is the software that holds your HR operations together: employee records, time off, onboarding, compliance, documents, all in one place instead of scattered across spreadsheets and email threads. It replaces guesswork with a single source of truth. No more digging through old emails to find a signed offer letter, no more wondering if a policy update actually reached everyone.
