Headcount Policy
Pricing is based on average monthly headcount. If your business sits above a band for two consecutives months, you'll be moved to the next band the following month.
Example:
You sign up for the Trail Boss plan and have 10 employees ($600/month). During the 2nd both, you hire 5 employees. At the end of the second AND third months, you have 15 employees. You will automatically be moved up a band ($850).

Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum contract term?
Both LaunchPad plans require a 6-month commitment to ensure a strong HR foundation and partnership for your business.
What if we need more than 35 hours of HR support in a week?
Hours 36 to 40 are billed at $5/hour (with your approval). Any hours above 40 in a week are billed at $15/hour. You're always in control of your support level and budget.
Is there a setup fee, and what does it cover?
Yes. Pathfinder has a one-time setup fee of $500, while Commander's setup fee is $750. Both cover initial audits, documentation, and system implementation to get your new HR department up and running smoothly. Annual commitments waive these fees.
Can we switch between Pathfinder and Commander?
Absolutely! We'll review your needs at any time and can upgrade or adjust your plan as your business grows or your HR needs evolve. Just know that changing from Pathfinder to Commander during the first six-months will incur a pro-rated cost.
